Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Camille is the youngest of six siblings born to the late Pastor Ben and Mrs. Linnie Young. A passionate believer in the power of servant leadership, she’s worked diligently for over a decade to advance the causes of the less fortunate. Serving first as a Domestic Violence Victims Advocate for Shelby County Government before playing pivotal roles as a Health Educator at UT Health Science Center, Senior Associate at the Achievement Network, and a Victim Services Specialist with the Memphis Police Department, she has always cared about the well-being of others. In November 2025, she was appointed as the Manager, Expungements & Community Engagement with Shelby County Government General Sessions Court Clerk's Office.
In authoring this book, Camille shares how it is possible to be a woman over years old, unmarried with no children, and still find purpose in impacting the lives of others. She highlights and encourages embracing a growth opportunity to fulfill God's destiny for your life.
Camille holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and a Master of Science degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy and Management from the University of Memphis.
She's a Certified Life Coach, a weekly YouTuber and celebrated speaker who shares her passion, testimony, and message of hope to inspire, educate, and empower audiences across the country.
